In this presentation, I will present the idea of maps and visualisations as a posthuman endeavour to communicate across disciplines and forms. I will show examples of visuals to demonstrate the ways in which text like knowledge systems often need a defrag and the benefits of converting them into trans-human data and visualisations. The basis of the presentation is a paper I once wrote at The New School for the Parsons Journal of Information Mapping about data visualisation to communicate, raise awareness and prepare communities in the context of population health.
