Foreign Objekt

A New Model for Intelligence, Systems, and Transformation

Foreign Objekt (FO) is not just a research group, a philosophical framework, or a technology platform—it is a new kind of structure, one that transcends existing categories of academia, technology, and politics. It is a computational and strategic intelligence system designed to generate new paradigms rather than merely critique or react to existing ones.

Core Identity: Beyond Institutions, Beyond Events

Foreign Objekt is not an institution, not an event organizer, and not a traditional think tank. It is a computational epistemic system, an intelligence-generating machine that operates at the intersection of philosophy, technology, and systemic transformation.

Rather than passively engaging in discourse, FO actively constructs new ontological and epistemic models. It is designed to outscale, outcompute, and outmaneuver existing philosophical and technological structures.

What Foreign Objekt Does

1. Intelligence Modeling & Strategic Frameworks

•FO develops general intelligence modeling units that reframe human and posthuman cognition as computational and dynamic processes, not just abstract philosophical concepts.

•Frameworks like Intelligence-Love-Revolution, Deep Objekt, and Intelligence Unbound function as mobile and adaptive systems that continuously reconfigure reality.

2. Systemic Integration of Philosophy & Technology

•FO actively integrates with technological, strategic, and socio-political structures.

•It is self-scaling and self-actualizing, embedding itself into existing and emergent structures.

3. Collective Research Units & Transversal Methodologies

•FO operates as a distributed intelligence network, engaging scientists, artists, strategists, and engineers in nonlinear, nonhierarchical research formations.

•It creates mathematical and diagrammatic models to formalize abstract philosophical concepts into computational, functional systems.

Deep Objekt

The central aim of Deep Objekt is to articulate the nature of general intelligence—not simply as an abstract capacity, but as a process of renegotiating the boundaries between complexity, computation, cognition, and conceptualization. Understanding what constitutes the general in general intelligence is a formidable challenge, requiring a reassessment of the contexts in which intelligence emerges, individuates, and transforms. Deep Objekt, conceptualized and led by Sepideh Majidi, is committed to exploring general intelligence in all its past and future manifestations, tracing its evolution and revolution across deep Darwinian time and the unfolding trajectories of intelligence beyond human constraints.

Deep Objekt is a big computational toy model designed to experiment with the evolution and revolution of intelligence. It provides a conceptual and computational framework that allows for dynamic exploration of intelligence as an adaptive and scalable process. The concept of Deep Objekt was coined by Sepideh Majidi, evolving into both a research program and an Advanced Intelligence Platform. This approach rethinks intelligence as something that is not static but continuously reshaping its parameters and interactions in response to complex environmental and systemic changes.

A central premise of Deep Objekt is the recognition that general intelligence and computation are deeply correlated. Historically, computation has been understood as a structured, mathematically defined process. However, its potential has often been constrained by underexplored dimensions of computational behavior. Any fundamental shift in our understanding of general intelligence inevitably reconfigures our concept of computation itself—expanding the possible modes of computation, reorganizing behavioral hierarchies, and redefining the computational frontiers that intelligence operates within.

Through rigorous theoretical, mathematical, and computational inquiry, the General Intelligence Modeling Unit within Deep Objekt works to rethink intelligence beyond anthropocentric constraints, creating models that address intelligence as a dynamic and scalable phenomenon. This project moves beyond static paradigms, proposing a computational paradigm that accommodates intelligence in its increasing complexity—limits of biological, artificial, or hybrid forms.  is  evolving, computational space that the scales and levels of f intelligence is continuously shaped, negotiated, and extended beyond its current limits and possibilities.

Posthuman School

The Posthuman Philosophy School is a cutting-edge intellectual and experimental platform that challenges traditional philosophical paradigms by redefining intelligence, agency, and ontology beyond anthropocentric constraints. Established and led by Sepideh Majidi, the school serves as a space for rigorous inquiry into posthumanism, computational intelligence, and radical epistemology, emphasizing a departure from static frameworks toward dynamic, evolving models of thought and existence.

At the core of the school’s inquiry is the tension between the human and posthuman, not as a simple duality but as an evolving dialectical relationship. This tension—examined through the lens of intelligence—uncovers the limitations of embodied experience and emphasizes intelligence as the locus of true unbinding.

The school explores the disconnect and interrelation between human and posthuman perspectives, rejecting simplistic notions of unmediated access to the unbound and instead proposing computational and systematic approaches to complexity, intelligence, and agency.

Rather than merely critiquing anthropocentrism, the Posthuman Philosophy School engages deeply with the conditions of appearance, mediation, and interaction that structure intelligence and cognition. Drawing from mathematics, philosophy, artificial intelligence, and aesthetics, it develops models that allow for the navigation of discontinuities, ruptures, and emergent complexities that define posthuman conditions.

The school is structured around research programs, symposia, and workshops, offering advanced theoretical and computational frameworks that push the limits of existing knowledge systems. Participants engage in collective world-building, speculative reasoning, and methodological experimentation, seeking to refine conceptual terrains that extend beyond traditional categories of humanist thought.

The Posthuman Philosophy School does not seek to establish fixed doctrines. Instead, it is an open, evolving system—a space where intelligence, computation, and critique come together to formulate new ontological and epistemological architectures that redefine the scope and nature of knowledge itself.

Posthuman Art Network

The Posthuman Art Network is a platform that explores the evolving intersections of art, technology, and posthumanist thought. By challenging traditional human-centric perspectives, it fosters a deeper understanding of our place within a complex, interconnected ecosystem.

Through exhibitions, research, and collaborative projects, the network delves into themes such as Posthuman Spirituality, Posthuman Ethics, Posthuman Agency, Posthuman Ecology, Terrains and Topologies (ref. Sepideh), alongside examinations of limits, the posthuman body, artificial intelligence, and the fusion of organic and synthetic forms.

This approach begins with research, engaging with theoretical and conceptual inquiries through diagramming, modeling, and experimentation within the General Intelligence Modeling Unit and various other labs. By integrating speculative exploration with methodological development, the network not only redefines artistic expression but also encourages a reevaluation of the boundaries between human and non-human entities.
